During the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve become more reliant than ever on technology to keep in touch with family, friends, and colleagues. We’ve also seen accelerated use of technologies which enable us to remotely monitor patients in clinical trials. But not everyone will be comfortable with using these new devices, or communicating with healthcare professionals via phone or video. To some, technology can seem frightening and impersonal.
