mdcorporate was tasked with managing the logistics, travel, accommodation, and event space for the launch of a European sportswear firm’s groundbreaking new product.
The brief involved working alongside a PR company, as well as responding to the needs of a range of key stakeholders, including manufacturers, purchasers, vendors, marketeers, media, investors, distributors and sporting institutions.
The security requirements were particularly challenging, as it was a high-profile event that garnered much public and media interest. A number of international sports stars were in attendance, as well as a total of 650 attendees arriving and leaving over four days.
What we did
Our first challenge was to source an appropriate venue in Paris, France. The Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile was suitably large and allowed us to take thorough security precautions.
As well as sourcing a venue and arranging travel logistics, we were responsible for ensuring that our client’s requirements were met across the board, and that every delegate was taken care of from arrival to departure. We also handled audio-visual production, sourcing reliable and cutting-edge technologies, and white-glove management of VIPs, including international sports stars.
The launch event was a great success, running smoothly despite so many delegates arriving and departing at different times. Our client was extremely pleased with the success of the launch and commented that it was the most impressive event in their history.
