mdevents was approached to organize and execute an annual sponsored awards dinner for 260 top level international executives. The event would include promotional speakers from various sponsor corporations, as well as an opportunity for suppliers and buyers to meet and network.
We were keen to deliver a top-quality experience from beginning to end, highlighting our client’s professionality and showcasing the sponsors, while allowing guests to meet, mingle and recognise one another’s achievements.
What we did
Our events team handled everything from sourcing an ideal venue to arranging entertainment. The event took place in a unique and prestigious landmark venue in London, UK, and comprised of a cocktail reception with live music, followed by a formal awards dinner.
We handled all aspects of audio-visual production, catering, travel and transfers, as well as production of marketing material and post-event feedback. The logos and branding of each event sponsor was included across all promotional material.
We ensured that our clients could leave the details of the event in our hands, while they focussed on the awards and networking opportunities at its core.
The event was a great success, showcasing sponsors by allowing representatives to speak at the event, as well as to present an award in their category.
Sponsors received a write-up in all of the pre- and post- event promotional features, as well as full-page advertisement in the event program. In the monthly magazine publication of the industry in question, sponsors were given a full-page advertisement and were mentioned in the follow-up issue featuring the results of the awards.
This left each sponsor feeling truly involved in the event, and fostered lasting relationships between corporations.
